The new hospice will be built on land adjacent to the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital. Please see ‘The New Hospice’ page of the site for a map.
Co-location with the NNUH offers the many advantages of adjoining a major NHS site. Staff resources can be used more effectively, medical logistical arrangements will be much enhances and the proximity of the Norwich Research park will aid interaction with medical research organisations.
Our friendly Fundraising Team are on hand to offer support and advice – we really value our supporters and aim to provide an exceptional level of customer service to you.
Anyone fundraising for us can request a fundraising pack; which contains leaflets about our campaign, sponsor forms and a cardboard collection box. We also have fundraising support materials available for download on the ‘Fundraise’ page of the site, including poster templates and sponsor forms. Additional materials such as stickers, collection tins and buckets are available on request. We also have branded t-shirts and running vests. In some instances where there is a charge for taking part in an event, we may be able to offer you a free place in return for you raising a minimum amount of money for us.
Gift Aid allows us to claim back the basic tax rate paid on donations; including items donated for sale at our shops. This boosts our income by 25p per £1 donated – so a donation worth £10.00 becomes £12.50 with Gift Aid.
Gift Aid costs you nothing extra, but makes a huge difference to us. To allow us to claim Gift Aid on your donation, you must be a UK tax-payer and make a declaration to us either when donating online, or by completing one of our downloadable Gift Aid or sponsor forms on the ‘Fundraise’ page of the site.
There are several options for sending funds raised to us:
Donate online via the ‘Donate’ page of the site.
Cheques may be made payable to ‘Priscilla Bacon Hospice’ and posted to: Priscilla Bacon Hospice, 20 Low Road, Drayton, Norwich, NR8 6AA.
If you have cash to hand over, or would like to make a BACS transfer, please contact us and we will be happy to advise.
If you have used an online giving website, (such as Just Giving or Virgin Money Giving), there is no need for any further action as the donations are automatically transferred to us. If you raise any funds offline, you can also pay these into your bank and then onto your online page.
Please contact us via e-mail or telephone to let us know your wishes and we will action them appropriately.
