Over £7,000 raised by Inflatable 5K runners
40 runners took part in the Inflatable 5K obstacle run in aid of our new hospice appeal at the Norfolk Showground on Saturday 19th October. It was an incredible sight to see everyone in their pink Priscilla Bacon Hospice t-shirts, running and bouncing their way around the course.
All of the sponsorship money is now in and we can announce that a total of £7,142.93 was raised!
Hugo Stevenson, Head of Fundraising and Communications, said: “It has been really moving to hear the reasons why they have been running for us. We have had children who have lost their Grandmother at Priscilla Bacon Lodge; we have had nurses who have been working there for up to 20 years, who know the difference that fundraising for the new Priscilla Bacon Hospice will make to us.”
Please watch our video from the day below to hear more about why people took on this challenge.
A huge thank you to all who took part, we will definitely be doing it all again in 2020!
