Quotes from previous riders
“I was so impressed by every aspect of this event and just wanted to say a huge thank you to all of those involved – the marshals, the motorcyclists, the starters, the welcome committee at the finish, the local venues for refreshments and all of the countless and unseen volunteers that put this event together and made it such a magnificent day.” S.N.
“I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Norwich bike ride. The route was well planned out and signposted, refreshments were plentiful and all volunteers incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for organising such a wonderful event, I will be sure to sign up for next year’s!” E.B.
“Thank you for a fantastically well organised event last weekend. This is the first sportive I’ve taken part in since lockdown in March and I think you and the team did an excellent job. I look forward to riding with you at one of your future events.” Mark L.

VW FAB festival is organised by Terriann and Mark Vincent, and the FAB Family Crew. It’s a family-based weekend and they describe themselves as “Back to basics, one big old school family festival.”
They chose to fundraise for the new Priscilla Bacon Lodge at their 2019 event, and after raising more than £3,000, we were thrilled when they selected us as their permanent chosen charity shortly afterwards.
This year’s event celebrates 10 years of the festival and for 2023 only, day visitors are only permitted on Sunday 27th August. Last entry is 2pm.
Activities at the festival include the very popular “Retro Pushbike Show” and “Shine & Show”, along with a “Scrufts” dog show and a “Dub Tucker Trial”.
There will be a raffle in aid of the new Lodge, and we will be there all weekend with a stand of activities and games.
Camping pitches and Advance Sunday day tickets are now SOLD OUT. Entry is £10 on the gate, or free for under 16s.
