Perfect for an early meeting with friends, a mid-week treat, or a leisurely start to the weekend, The Friends Café in Priscilla Bacon Lodge is a welcoming and spacious place for anyone to relax and enjoy views of our beautiful gardens.

We are open 7 days a week between 9:30am and 4:30pm, serving a range of freshly made meals, cakes, drinks and snacks. We also offer Afternoon Teas – please see below for more details.

The Café has a peaceful outside space for people to enjoy in warm weather.

We are open to the general public, as well as our staff, volunteers, patients and their families. We provide a great space to meet, along with a friendly welcome from our team.

By supporting our Café, you will be helping to raise funds for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity, enabling us to enrich care for those in palliative care and their loved ones.

Afternoon Tea

Gather your friends and family for a decadent afternoon tea served on vintage china. The menu has been designed by our very own chefs and includes:

  • Selection of finger sandwiches
  • Fruit scones with jam and whipped vanilla cream
  • Sausage roll
  • Victoria Sponge
  • Profiteroles
  • Chocolate dipped fruit
  • Lemon posset

All served with a pot of tea.

Coffee/soft drinks are available at an extra charge.

Booking is required and we need 48hrs notice to ensure we have all the items ready for you to enjoy.

£15.95 per person.
