Volunteer with Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust at Priscilla Bacon Lodge

We wish to recruit additional volunteers to the Chaplaincy Team. Commitment to this role requires regular availability to work in a patient-facing role. We welcome applications from individuals of all faiths and backgrounds who are in good standing with their local faith community, and have an interest in, or experience of, pastoral and spiritual care. Full training and pastoral supervision will be offered.

The aim of the Meet and Greet Car Park Volunteer is to create a good first impression by welcoming patients and visitors as they arrive. Making a good, friendly first impression, by directing people to available parking spaces, or providing details of alternative parking.

A Reception Volunteer will welcome patients and visitors as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate department. They will also answer the telephone and help with admin tasks. We have vacancies for weekend and evening Reception Volunteers.

Ward Volunteers enhance the already outstanding care that our inpatients and their visitors receive. Volunteers spend quality time with them, offering companionship and a listening ear. They also help staff with tasks such as making beds, serving patients meals, and offering drinks.
