“We’ve been supporting the hospice for two and a half years with voice and data communications at their warehouse. We’ve also raised money for them by doing a 10K run and cycling the Norwich 100.
Being involved has enabled us to connect with other business supporters and extend our reach beyond our usual network. It’s also been useful for us to attend the events other businesses have put on, such as Golf Days, as it’s a great opportunity to raise awareness for the hospice, network, and build relationships.”

Ways To Get Involved
Our full or half-day garden volunteering sessions for corporate groups take place on Wednesdays, and are currently fully booked until mid-September 2025.
We are particularly seeking support in our Dereham Shop, where we can host groups of up to 8 people, and our Bowthorpe Shop, where we can take up to 5. Both can offer full or half-day volunteering.
We also welcome help at our Retail Warehouse in Drayton, and can often accommodate groups at short notice, so please get in touch if your team is able to lend a hand!
We have sponsorship opportunities at annual events such as our Summer and Christmas Fairs, Memorial Walk, and Reflect and Remember Carol Service.
A fantastic way to unite your team around a shared purpose. We can support you with planning fundraising activities; whether it’s bake sales, sponsored walks, in-office challenges, or team events. We can also provide branded fundraising materials to help you. Your efforts will help us continue enhancing care for patients and families at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.
There are so many ways your team can get involved with fundraising – whether you join one of our organised events, take on a sponsored challenge, or create your own! From Golf Days, to runs, to quizzes, or team bake-offs – the possibilities are endless. We’ll provide support with ideas, promotion, and fundraising materials, and we’d love to shout about your efforts on our social media channels.
We welcome all kinds of support beyond financial donations. Whether you can offer professional skills, (such as marketing, design, or printing), raffle prizes for our events, or unsold or end-of-line stock for our shops – these kinds of contributions all make a difference too. We’re always happy to discuss how your business can share its expertise or resources with us.
For example, £500 could provide 12 complementary therapy sessions.
You could also consider offering Payroll Giving to your employees, via a platform like Charities Trust or Charities Aid Foundation (CAF).
We gratefully accept surplus stock from businesses, as well as pre-loved items brought in by your team. You could organise an internal donation day, which is a great way to engage employees whilst helping to keep our Charity Shops stocked! All proceeds from sales help fund the support we provide at Priscilla Bacon Lodge.
