An East Anglian Job – Norfolk Mini Owners Club raises £1,000
We were thrilled to be the chosen charity for this year’s ‘East Anglian Job’ event, organised by the Norfolk Mini Owners Club over the August Bank Holiday weekend, at Applewood Countryside Park in Banham.
The event also celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Mini, which fell on 26th August.
It was a fun-filled weekend of treasure hunts, scavenger hunts, and the fantastic ‘Glow Show’, which our Events and Fundraising Coordinator, Amy Wright, was invited to be the judge of.
On the Sunday, there was a Mini Run with a stop-off at the Thursford Collection.
Proceeds from ticket sales and a raffle raised a fantastic £727, which the club very kindly rounded up to £1,000!
We were delighted to welcome some of the club members to Priscilla Bacon Lodge for a cheque presentation, along with a tour of the facilities, so they could see how the funds will be used.
A heartfelt thank you to the club for choosing to support us, to everyone who attended, and to the event sponsors: Adrian Flux Insurance, Uncle Luke’s Sign & Sticker Shop, Norfolk Cars, Taylor Motors, Katie Anne Content Creator and Laura Anne Photography.
