Marathon runners raise over £15,000

A huge and heartfelt thank you to our team of determined runners who took part in the Spring Blickling Half Marathon on 17th March, and the Norfolk Marathon on 28th April.

Together, they raised an incredible amount for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity, with the current total standing at more than £15,000, and still climbing!

The events proved both exhilarating and emotional, with many participants running in memory of loved ones who had received care from Priscilla Bacon Lodge.

Louise Archer, Community Fundraising and Events Coordinator for the Priscilla Bacon Hospice Charity, said: “It’s wonderful working with our fabulous fundraisers on the lead up to their challenge, offering encouragement when training gets tough, and helping with fundraising. I always enjoy meeting and greeting our runners on the day, and am often honoured to be able to congratulate them by handing out medals at what can be a very emotional time.”
