Mum and Dad – Betty and Maurice Loades – have been shielding throughout the pandemic due to both their health conditions. Mum is 79 and Dad is 84. To keep them occupied, myself and my sister Karen ordered a huge amount of seeds, plug plants and compost! Throughout the last 3 months they have both nurtured and grown the plants – both flowers and vegetables – and the photos show how stunning the results are. It is easier for them to have pots and the results bring joy to them and all their neighbours.
