I have a small cottage garden, no grass, all flagstones and stones. Before lockdown, we had no plants. Over 3 months, neighbours have shared seeds and plants, local nurseries have delivered compost and I’ve used old furniture and bits I’ve found in the shed to build planters. We have peas and herbs growing too. It’s not perfect, but it’s been much needed in these strange times.
