Heather has been gardening her acre plot on a 1-in-5 hill (rare thing in Norfolk) for over 40 years. She has gardened her way through the ups and downs of life and now through lockdown. She can be found outside in all weathers, sowing seeds, propagating new plants and tending her hens and vegetable plot. She is particularly fond of alpines, cacti and pelargoniums. As an artist, her plants often are the basis for her abstract paintings. She is an instinctive gardener who gardens with nature, sharing her garden with the birds, slow worms and the occasional grass snake! Quite simply, she would be lost without her garden.
