Losing my husband in 2018 at the age of 67 was devastating. Retirement had hardly started. Graham loved the garden, (as do I), so on finding Graham’s wellies sitting neglected in the garage, I decided to plant them up in his memory. In the spring they are filled with pansies & daffodils & for the summer, a mixture of summer bedding.

Last year, for our lovely little village church, where Graham was Churchwarden, (I now carry out this role as a tribute to him!), I decided to sell filled pairs of wellies in order to raise much needed funds for the church – and they did.

I worked for 30 years at the village school & now go in voluntary to help out – so asked parents for any outgrown wellies to use. This gives me so much pleasure.

This year, my wellies stand along side Graham’s, we will always walk side by side!!!!
