We moved into our house with its small south facing garden in 2013 which consisted of a small decked area, a lawn, five shrubs and an empty space where the previous owners had taken their very large summer house from.

Over the next few years, with a little help, we created a mainly evergreen space using different large leaved plants and textures, along with a rose/jasmine arch, a small seating area under the wisteria and added a canopy of assorted climbers over the decking.

Along with Noddy we have a number of feathered visitors and attract the usual garden birds and their nests, along with robins, woodpeckers, bats and even a barn owl.

We live in the back of our house and feel like we are sitting in the garden come rain or shine.
