£977 raised at open garden at 26 Ipswich Road

Pat Adcock of 26 Ipswich Road kindly opened her garden for charity as part of the National Gardens Scheme on Sundays 18th and 25th July. She chose our new hospice appeal to benefit from funds raised from tea and cake sales.

We were really lucky with the weather on both days and lots of people came along to enjoy the garden. Sales of teas, coffees and an amazing selection of cakes baked and donated by volunteers, plus a raffle, meant we raised the fantastic total of £977.90 for the new hospice!

The winners of the raffle prizes of Notcutts Garden Centre vouchers were Hannah Robinson of Lakenham and Les Cook of Spixworth – congratulations to you both!

A huge thank you to Pat for inviting us along, to everyone who came and supported the two events, and to our amazing volunteers who baked cakes and helped to run the stall.
