Over £2,000 raised by cousins in memory of Grandfather

A big thank you to Luke Daly and George McLeavy, who raised £2,005 for the new hospice! Luke, (pictured), cycled across Norfolk from King’s Lynn to Great Yarmouth, and George ran the Bristol Half Marathon.

The cousins completed these challenges in memory of their Grandfather, Terry Easen, who received care at home from the Priscilla Bacon Lodge team. Their fundraising page reads, “We were lucky that the Hospice nurses were able to give our Grandad all the care he needed from home. But who knows what would have happened if we had been unable to cope from home and all the beds were full… Greater capacity is urgently needed.”

Because they have raised over £2,000, this allows the family to dedicate up to two lines of text to Terry’s memory on a display wall in the new hospice. For more information on this and other dedication options, please click below.
