This gorgeous garden belongs to my amazing 80 year old mum, Eve Richardson (aka Nanny Angel!) who cleverly designed it all from scratch – and is still planting and tending it all. Save for the tulips, these pictures were taken in early June (before the bedding plants went in!).

It transitions beautifully from season to season, providing all-year-round interest and a wonderful tranquil haven enjoyed by us and the wildlife alike.

Her garden has always been her happy place and has certainly been her sanctuary during lockdown. I couldn’t be more proud of her and her wonderful creation, nurtured with countless hours of hard work and watering – oh yes, the endless watering…!!
