Skydivers raise over £1,800

A huge thank you and congratulations to Rita Wise, Megan Nelson and Maryanne Hoy for completing skydives for us. They all originally planned to jump earlier this year, but unfortunately were delayed when Beccles airfield had to close due to the pandemic. They raised over £1,800 for the new hospice between them.

Rita said, “I am very pleased, thoroughly enjoyed it even though I was very scared jumping out of the plane!”

Cousins Megan and Maryanne did their jumps in memory of their Grandad, Richard Walker, who received care at Priscilla Bacon Lodge last year. Because they raised over £1,000, they have become Million Pound Challengers and Richard’s name will be added to a wall in the new hospice. Find out more about the Million Pound Challenge below.
